Facilitator Bio

Mexican-born dancer/painter/ poetess. She transmits simplicity, harmony and peaceful community living through her varied art expressions.

In December 25th of 2005 Natta took refuge and became a Buddhist, since then she has studied under the guide of Dharma Master Long Hui, Dharma Master Ru Hui, Dharma Master Miao Kong Fa Shi, Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche and Bodi Wentu Rinpoche, all disciples of His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III (第三世多杰羌佛).

Natta studied at the Choreography School of UNAM, as well as at the James Carte’s Ecole de Danse in Toulouse, France, and the D’Jonibas Center in New York City. Her dance credits include dancing with the “Street Theater and Circus Production” in Mexico, the Ecole de Cirque de Québec, with “Aerial Dance & Precarious Balance,” with Humanicorp Dance Company, at the National Institute of Arts (Bellas Artes), and with the Circus School of Barcelona, Spain.

In term of multimedia art, she has exhibited in Morelos, Mexico such as The Museum of the City of Cuernavaca, “Jardines del Sol” in Ocotitlan, Ex-convento de Tepoztlan and Auditorio Ilhucalli; in Chiapas at the Auditorio de Tuxtla Gutierrez; in the Bay Area at The Mission Cultural Center, at De Young Museum, Alcatraz Island, The Mills College Theater. She has been invited to dance in Washington D.C. at the Inter-American Development Bank and at the Organization of American Estates as part of the conferences of Vanguardia Latina: Latin-hemispheric agenda.

At this moment, Natta is the artistic director and teaching aerial dance, choreography and art at The Tea Dancers Ballet de la Compasión School and dance company in Berkeley, California.
