All courses including X courses More focus on esoteric practice. Includes homework assignments, quizzes and required participation in the debates and presentations. Comprehensive exam and dissertation required plus several retreats including 30-day solitary retreat. Only open to practicing Buddhists. Certificate or Masters degree requires 72 credits.

Courses are for anyone who wants to learn about the true Buddha Dharma as taught by Shakyamuni Buddha that enables living beings to obtain wisdom, good fortune, and peace.

The prerequisites for all classes are a good heart, open mind, and respect for the Dharma. The Dharma Discourses and Holy Texts are open to any student, but we offer different levels of engagement to meet your individual goals and conditions.

Monastic Discounts

Ordained monastics may apply to the Dean for discounted membership fees to attend either the Buddhist Studies Program or the Xuixing Seminary Program.
