About Us

Learning from Buddha Seminary (LFBS) is an affiliate of the Xuanfa Institute, which is located at 11507 East Ashlan Avenue, Sanger, California 93657. The Xuanfa Institute was established in 2009 as a tax-exempt religious non-profit corporation to propagate the correct dharma of Shakyamuni Buddha and all the Buddhas in the ten directions. Xuanfa (宣法) means propagate the dharma in Chinese. This includes the teachings of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, an incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha, who is the teacher of all Buddhas, including Shakyamuni Buddha. The Xuanfa Institute is in the process of establishing a  temple and retreat centers near Sanger, California.  Zhaxi Zhuoma Shang Da De is the Abbot of this temple.
