This Dharma Discourse on “Listening to the Supreme & Magnificent Dharma” provides the foundation for listening to Dharma and why it is important to listen to Dharma. It is an essential discourse for anyone wanting to obtain liberation from the cycle of reincarnation. This discourse was so important that the Buddha Master told us we needed to listen to it again every time we started listening to a new group of discourses. We were told that it was only through listening to Dharma Discourses and reading authentic Dharma books many times, would we be able to understand how to live in accordance with the principles of Buddhism and have our cultivation correspond with the Dharma. He also said that the Dharma that we must follow really starts from this discourse. This is why it is so important and a prerequisite to listening to all the other discourses.
This course also provides Zhaxi Zhuoma’s notes on H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha’s Dharma Discourse on “It Will Be Fruitless If One Does Not Listen to Discourses in Accordance with the Dharma Expounded in This Discourse” that established the Seven-Dharma System for listening to and learning Dharma, which will be used in most classes offered by LFBCS. These are offered for reference only and in lieu of being able to have a translation of this very important discourse.
The curriculum videos are from the reading by Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche of a preliminary translation of this Dharma Discourse at an on-line Lemonade Sangha class given online on August 3, 2021.
The curriculum includes assignments, quizzes, supplemental materials, and group discussions. This interactive course is not available for those enrolled in the free membership program for AUDITING STUDENTS. It will only be part of the paid membership program. However, you will find the actual discourse this course is based on in the free course D01(A).

There are no other prerequisite discourses you are required to hear before you hear this discourse,
